The members of Memory Lodge will be aware that, in the Autumn of 2017, W. Bro. Wynne Cotton left the Lodge in order to re-locate to Cardiff to be near to his family.

W. Bro. Wynne had been a member for 44 years, during which time he had served as Master of the Lodge in 1988-1989 and, latterly with distinction, as Charity Steward of the Lodge between 1997 and 2006.

In order to honour his service to the Memory Lodge, the members presented W. Bro. Wynne an engraved Tercentenary Jewel and a Lodge Certificate marking his service as a member and his contribution to the Lodge.

The photograph of Wynne with his Certificate was taken by his daughter Rhian over the Christmas period.

Elvis is in the Building!

Elvis is alive and well!

Members of the Lodge, their families and friends enjoyed an "Elvis Live" Social at Farfield Hall on Saturday 7th October 2017, organised by the Ladies Committee.

"Elvis Live", in reality Wynne Roberts, entertained the large audience for nearly three hours with his lifelike singing and appearance, as can be seen by the photograph above. Thanks to those attending, the evening realised a healthy profit to be used for future charitable purposes and the Worshipful Master, Bro Peter Coates and his wife Jackie are to be congratulated for such an enjoyable evening.
